How do I place an order?

To place an order online, simply visit our instant quote/place an order page and input all of the relevant information about your requirement product. You will then need to upload your files so that we can begin the printing process.

Do you accept Word files?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Word files. Please send us proofed, press-ready pdfs (using Adobe Acrobat) for printing

How do I send/upload files?

You can send us your files via Pitstop Connect – please download this software from our website here. Pitstop Connect will preflight your files, highlighting any potential problems.
Alternatively, you can send us your files using our hightail Dropbox – click here for more information on this service. If you are experiencing difficulties or prefer to send your files using a different method, please get in touch with us directly.

What happens once I have placed an order?

Once you have placed an order and your files have been successfully uploaded we will then initiate the printing process. If you have selected our bound proof copy service, we will produce this for you within 1-3 working days.

Once you have approved the proof, we will begin printing the full run. You will receive an invoice once the proof copy has been approved – we will then require payment prior to dispatch.

Can you provide a digital proof?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capability to provide a digital proof from our presses. It is our usual practice (and recommendation) to produce a printed & bound proof for your inspection prior to the full run.

When can I expect to receive the proof for my review?

Once the files have been uploaded and received by us, we then aim to produce a proof and send this out to you within 1-3 working days.

Can I amend/change the proof once it has been printed?

Yes, you can make changes to the proof. All changes will be charged at £12.00 per file amended.

Will you keep my files for reprints?

Yes, we keep all of your files on the server. If you require a reprint at any point, please contact us via email or phone so that we can confirm the price and initiate the process for you.

What are my delivery options?

You can select your preferred delivery options whilst placing an order. We use DPD for smaller orders, who usually deliver within 1-2 working days. For a supplement charge, DPD also offers a guaranteed next day delivery service between the hours of 08:00-10:30am.

Pallets are the most cost-effective method for shipping larger orders. Again, a supplement charge will be added if you require a timed delivery. The online price calculator will show our delivery costs.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes we do. Please contact us for more information on shipping abroad.

Can I track my order?

Once you have placed an order and it has been dispatched with DPD, we can link your email address and/or mobile number to their notification service. DPD will contact you to confirm when the your order has been dispatched and again on the day of delivery with an estimated 1-hour time slot.

When do I pay?

Full payment is expected once you have approved the proof copy.

How do I pay?

You can pay online via our online secure server with a Debit/Credit card. We can take card payments over the phone or, alternatively, you can pay by BACS transfer. Cheques are also accepted but can delay turnaround time. Please contact us for further details.

How do I send files?

Please download Pitstop Connect from our website . Pitstop Connect will pre-flight your files, highlighting any potential problems. You can also use our hightail dropbox. Please visit the ‘upload files’ page to get more info. If you experience difficulties please contact us.

Do you offer print on demand?

We do not offer a print on demand service as such, but we specialise in short run printing and have no minimum order on paperbacks. Hardback orders must be 25 copies or more.

What size should I design my Spine?

The width of the spine will depend on the paper type and the amount of pages in your book. The spine width is displayed when you get a quote and place an order.
